Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.


Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.


Cancellation terms in most cases are:


  • With less than 1 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance
  • With less than 5 days notice before your arrival date: 15% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page


Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

The Space:
This quiet, 5-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home is centrally located in Old Strathcona and is complete with its own back alley parking & street parking. It combines a relaxing atmosphere with every comfort you need to feel at home.

BEDROOMS:
The house has four tastefully-decorated bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed and plenty of closet space. The fifth bedroom has two single beds specifically set up for children. Enjoy long nights of peaceful sleep surrounded by the warm ambiance. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, two sinks, complete with a large 2 person soaker tub and shower.

BATHROOMS:
The two bathrooms are exquisite and clean: both the en-suite & main bathroom have a toilet, shower/bathtub, and sink. There is also a half bath on the main floor.

We provide shampoo, soap, toilet paper, a hair dryer, and hotel-quality towels. For all your laundry needs, there’s a washer and dryer with the necessary supplies available for your use.

KITCHEN:
The home makes it easy for guests to cook and eat meals together with its fully-stocked kitchen and appliances. The kitchen features a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker. There is a HUGE butcher block which seconds as a bar-style counter, as well as a separate dining table, with enough seating for couples and families.

We provide breakfast foods and cooking basics as well as silverware, dishes, pots, and pans.

LOUNGE:
Complete with a huge fully functional sectional sofa, a plush carpet, and comfortable chairs. The home's spacious living room invites you to rest and relax. The natural light from the large windows and the old fashioned door leading to the balcony add to the glamour.

The Neighborhood:

(Avenue Magazine) The area, which turns 102 this year, is beloved for its bustling year-round farmers’ market, walkability and abundance of shops, restaurants and bars – there are more than 600 businesses in the area. And while the area was also voted the city’s “most overrated” in our survey, it’s tough to deny its year-round charms. In summer, the patios overflow with people; in winter, residents and honorary residents flock to festivals like Ice on Whyte.

Old Strathcona also works hard to retain much of its historic vibe because it is one of Edmonton’s “most significant early communities,” according to the Alberta Register of Historic Places.
