Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 14 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
With less than 30 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

The area: Playa de Canyamel is a beautiful blue flag beach on the northeast coast of Mallorca. It is located about 10 km from the towns of Arta and Capdepera. It is surrounded, on one side, by a nature reserve and estuary, ideal for walking and bird watching; and, in the other, of the relatively discreet and well-preserved tourist resort of Canyamel, popular with Germans, Swiss and Spanish visitors from the peninsula. With its 290 meters long, Playa de Canyamel is of fine sand and its waters are clear and blue, ideal for diving.

Getting around: Rent a car and visit the island to return to this quiet and pleasant place to relax.

Interaction with guests: We will be gladly reachable anytime for any local advice or anything you may need during your stay. We want you to feel at home, just let us know if you need anything, any advice or any help.

Guests are asked to sign a rental agreement before entering the property.

In addition, due to the new regulations of the Balearic Government since Friday, July 1, 2016, has implemented the new "sustainable tourism tax" of the Balearic Islands (ECOTAX) to be charged to everyone (residents and non-residents of the EU) who stay in hotels, apartments (that are classified as tourist accommodation) and cruises.
The rate during high season (from April to October included) will be:
• 2 euros per day per adult (16+) for the first 8 days; 1€ per day per adult for the remainder.
All these amounts are reduced by half in each case from 1st November.
This tax is for residents and non-residents of the European Union.
We will take payment upon your arrival to the house or apartment.
