Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 14 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance
With less than 7 days to arrival date 75% of the total remaining balance
With Less than 24 hours or no prior notice / No show: 100% of the total balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

An amazing entire apartment to let with views of the Prinsengracht Canal and Noorderkerk which is opposite (Amsterdam's central church in the Jordaan). Apartment with ensuite bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and living room. Open plan space spread across 3 open rooms. Sofa in Living room collapses for additional sleeping space for 2 people + 1 single sofa in the middle area of the flat. Skylights as well as a view of the garden at the back. Very central location. 5 minutes walk from the Anne Frank house. 10 minutes walk to central station and the Red Light district. Bars and Cafes within 5 minutes walk (including the famous Papeneiland visited by President Clinton! Also Finch, Proust and Tabac). Supermarket is a 4 minute walk away. Free wifi. Its on the 3rd floor - no lift of course but easy access and very special narrow stairs. Just soo Amsterdam! Only guests 25 years of age and over are catered for.

Special Requirements

For late/early check-ins or check-outs - please contact me to make an arrangement. Space is let only to confirmed guests of 25 years and over An additional cleaning fee of 20EUR is payable on arrival for guests of more than 3. Please note that this is a monumental building and the piping sounds a bit in the winter but nothing overwhelming. *Please keep noise at a level that does not interfere with the comfort and sleep of other neighbors as there are families living in the building, especially at night. Parties and loud noise are strictly not allowed in order not to disturb the neighbors below as the walls are quite thin. Thanks. Small amounts of cannabis are permitted with discretion.
