Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.


Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.


Cancellation terms in most cases are:


  • With less than 1 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance
  • With less than 5 days notice before your arrival date: 15% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page


Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

This quiet, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom half-duplex located in the Windermere neighbourhood is complete with its own garage. It combines a relaxing atmosphere and every comfort you need to feel at home.

BEDROOMS:
The home has three tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed and plenty of closet space. Enjoy a peaceful sleep in a relaxing ambiance. The master bedroom has a 4 piece en-suite bathroom, including a soaker tub, and there is also a large walk-in closet.
With the sofa in the living room and the futon in the upstairs den, the home can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests. There are extra pillows and blankets available if needed.

BATHROOMS:
As the house has 2.5 bathrooms, no one has to wait for getting ready. All of the bathrooms are exquisite and clean: both the en-suite & main bathroom are complete with toilets, shower/bathtub, and sink.
We provide shampoo, soap, toilet paper, a hair dryer, and hotel-quality towels. For all your laundry needs, there’s a washer and dryer with the necessary supplies available for your use.

KITCHEN:
The home makes it easy for guests to cook and eat meals together with its fully-stocked kitchen and appliances. The kitchen features a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, rice cooker and coffee maker. There is a bar-style counter as well as a separate dining table with enough seating for couples and families.
We provide Instant Oatmeal as a basic breakfast, cooking basics (Salt & Pepper and Olive Oil) as well as silverware, dishes, pots, and pans.

LIVING ROOM:
Complete with a three-seater sofa, a plush carpet, and an indoor fireplace, the home’s spacious living room invites you to rest and relax. The natural light from the large windows and patio doors bring the room to life.
Catch up to your favourite shows on Netflix & Roku with the 55” flat screen TV. You'll appreciate the super-fast Wi-Fi too (150MB per second).
There is an upstairs den complete with a futon, rocking chair and TV, which means no one has to fight over which program to watch! Escape the hustle and bustle in this cozy haven. There is also a home office for those on a working holiday.
A washer and dryer are available for guest use too.

OUTSIDE SPACE:
In the warmer months, head out onto the patio/backyard with your first coffee of the day.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the entire house, as well as the patio, backyard and garage. You will be provided with a code for the lockbox to check in.
Besides garage parking, there is free street parking available.
We will likely not meet in person unless you request it, but I am always available by phone and text. Please reach out at any time.

The Neighborhood:
Windermere is one of the most recently developed neighbourhoods in Edmonton, including the Currents Of Windermere shopping district. Which has everything you need from a VIP Cineplex, to Cabelas, The Keg, Walmart, Starbucks, and Save-On Foods, all within 4-7 min from the house. You can easily access the Anthony Henday ring road and reach any parts of the city within 20-30 min, including the International Airport.
Getting Around:
Best way to get around Edmonton is by car/Turo/Uber. With the Anthony Henday ring road and Whitemud Drive close by you can get anywhere in Edmonton within 15 - 35 minutes. West Edmonton Mall 20 min, Whyte Ave 25 min, Downtown Core/Ice District 30 - 35 min, Edmonton International Airport 30 min. Also, public transport is also just down the street!
