Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 30 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
With less than 90 days notice before your arrival date: 30% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

The apartment is located in a fascinating 17th century villa in the village of Carlazzo, between Lake Como and Lake Lugano.

The well-known Menaggio Golf Club is in the immediate vicinity. The villa was completely renovated in 2000 and divided into apartments. The entire property of the villa is fenced and the driveway (also for vehicles) via the imposing large iron gate. The beautiful 85 m2 apartment is located on the 1st floor and has a living room with fireplace with direct access to the balcony with stunning views of the villa park. The well-equipped kitchen is integrated in the living area. There are three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one twin and one single. The bathroom is equipped with shower, sink and bidet.

The apartment is located in a sunny position facing south and has a beautiful view of the park of the villa and the surroundings of the Lago del Piano. The garden park of the villa is also equipped with a large communal swimming pool.

A private parking space is available for your car.

Restaurants, supermarkets, golf clubs and numerous hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Good starting point for excursions as Carlazzo is halfway between Lake Como (Menaggio can be reached by car in 10 minutes) and Lake Lugano. You can reach Porlezza in 10 minutes and Lugano in 20 minutes.
