Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 6 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
With less than 255 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

Surrounded with a forest and with an amazing view to the mountain peaks, the 200 year old "Paradise-View Chalet" offers a unique experience of an authentic vacation close to nature and next to famous Gstaad and it's beautiful valley.
From the 3000 meter high glacier where you can ski even in august, to hiking, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, ballooning.
The house is just 5 minutes away from the first ski slopes and the Gstaad Super Ski Region.
The Space:
From the famous Cailler chocolate factory just next to the impressive castle and medieval village of Gruyère, to an amazing day organized in a typical swiss farm with cheese manufacturing and a typical swiss dinner, with some good surprises waiting for you.
We offer a fully equipped authentic kitchen including a special machine to enjoy a Raclette or a Fondue.
There is a stunning view, with a paradise room for children with games and toys, 2 fire places and also WIFI, DVD’s and music.
Guest Access:
The house is a couple of minutes away from the village, the river and slopes. You can enjoy many treks all over the mountains.
3 parking spaces are waiting for you outside the house together with a complete private road. It is a very calm and isolated area, with no neighbors.
In the village (5 minutes drive) you can get anything you want or need, and the train station there will connect you to any point in Switzerland and Europe.

The Neighborhood:
Touching nature everywhere, this isolated old Chalet is unique and in the middle of the great Region of Gstaad - Rougemont - Chateau d'Oex.
Getting Around:
Train to Rougemont.
Then 2 km by car or taxi. Walking is an option for the ones who enjoy it.
Other Things to Note:
2 of the bedrooms are mezzanines, ideal for teenagers or singles, but not couples.
