The perfect holiday home escape, Echis House is a wonderfully renovated 5-bedroom Villa with swimming pool and spectacular views of the Galli Islands, Praiano and the Amalfi Coast.
Nestled in 500 square metres of olive groves and Mediterranean gardens, the two-storey villa has been stylishly refurbished to accommodate the modern day traveller looking for peace, tranquillity and relaxation in an authentic setting. The Villa comprises 5 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, separate dining and sitting room and a main lounge and TV room.
The highlight of the Villa is its abundance of outdoor living space with a dining terrace off the kitchen, a separate courtyard with swimming pool and sundeck equipped with sunbeds, umbrella and lounge chairs, and a large first floor terrace with spectacular coastal views.
Entry into the Villa complex is via automatic remote controlled gate. To reach the property a SMALL-MEDIUM car is required as the Villa is located approx. 1km from the main road along a narrow and hilly road.
The ground floor of the Villa houses a separate lounge room with L shaped lounge chair and wall mounted flat screen Satellite TV. The room is light and airy and enjoys two sets of French glass doors that open out onto a rear terrace and pool deck nicely furnished with sunbeds and outdoor lounge chairs. On this level, you will also find two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms that are separated by a small corridor off the living room.
A large doorway connects the lounge room to a separate dining and sitting room which comfortably seats eight people, although you will most certainly dine out during the balmy summer months on the lovely terrace.
The Villa enjoys reverse cycle air-conditioning/ centralised heating and internet Wifi throughout.
The large modern kitchen is a delight for the avid chef and is well equipped with all the essentials including a five-burner gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. A glass door off the kitchen opens onto the rear terrace which is partially shaded and perfect for alfresco dining.
Up a flight of stairs from the main entrance and you reach the first floor and main sleeping quarters of the Villa. Here, you will find three spacious double bedrooms with modern furnishings, inbuilt wardrobes and full ensuite bathrooms including shower, WC, bidet wash basin. Two of the bedrooms open onto a large furnished terrace with spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast. One of the double bedrooms has a 2-seater sofa which opens into a comfortable double sofabed for two.
In addition, there are two guest bathrooms on the first floor with wash basin and WC.
Ideal for groups of friends, couples, or a family with children, the Villa is extremely spacious and comfortable providing for ample privacy and relaxation as you ponder out over the Mediterranean.
Echis House is located in a rural setting on the hillside and is approx. 1.5km to the quaint village of Sant’ Agata sui due Golfi , 12 km to Sorrento, 15 km to Positano, and 6km to Marina del Cantone, a fishing village famous for its beaches and amazing seafood restaurants.
There is much to enjoy within Sant'Agata sui due Golfi itself, including great shops, cafes and restaurants, the Monastery of Deserto and various archaeological ruins. If you enjoy walking, there are many nature trails along the coast and inland. The town is also a great centre for many day trips on the Sorrento Peninsula, Amalfi Coast and beyond.
Echis House is located on a secondary country road which is narrow and accessible by one car at a time. We highly recommend a small-medium sized car for your stay here.

Please Note:
1) Guests have complimentary access to the pool, cafe/bar and restaurant at Gocce di Capri - Hotel & Serviced Residence located near the square of Termini (2km from the Villa). Bookings essential
2) From the 1st April to the 31st of October, a mandatory tourist tax of 2,00 euros per person per night (for guests 18 years and over) for a maximum of 5 nights must be paid in cash on arrival. This is a government tax, payable by all tourists staying in the Municipal Council of Massa Lubrense.
3) A late check-in surcharge of €30 applies to all arrivals after 10:30pm which must be paid in cash to the host on arrival.
