## Space
Located on the third floor of an authentic building in Via dell’Oriuolo, this cozy loft is in the heart of the historical center of Florence, literally a few steps away from the Duomo Cathedral. It’s an open concept apartment with a quaint and spacious mezzanine which comfortably accommodates up to four guests. There is a double size bed on the upper level and a large, comfy sofa bed in the living area below. The apartment also features a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms both with shower, located one per floor to ensure max comfort and privacy to all the occupants.

The spacious daytime area is furnished in a practical way and features a large convertible sectional couch which can very comfortably sleep two.
Facing the sofa is a flat screen TV to chill in front of after an exciting day spent touring Florence. You’ll feel comfortable regardless of the season, as the space is equipped with air conditioning and quality radiators to provide heat when it’s cold. The apartment has a reliable high speed Wi-Fi connection.
There is a modern kitchen featuring a dining table for four and conveniently equipped with essential appliances such as: a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an electric kettle and various kitchenware (pans, plates, spoons, forks, knives…).
On the same level there is the first bathroom that has everything you need: a shower, a wash basin, a toilet and a bidet.
From the living room, a stair leads to the cozy mezzanine, open on the living room, featuring a double size bed and 2 chest of drawers for the guests to use, and a second bathroom with shower as well.
A hairdryer is provided and the apartment is equipped with a washing machine.
All the essentials are provided. This comprises: a set of clean hand and body towels, fresh linens for every guest, as well as toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and soap.

## Neighborhood
The location of the apartment is amazing and couldn’t be more convenient, basically in the the heart of Florence, immersed in the vibrant and inspiring atmosphere of the historic city center. The city’s best cafés, restaurants, bars, shops and galleries are all around you! And you are of course only steps away from Florence’s iconic landmarks such as the stunning Cathedral with its ever-famous Duomo and the recently renovated Baptistry. The imposing Palazzo Vecchio is also a stone’s throw away, as are the Uffizi gallery, the Santa Croce square, the picturesque Ponte Vecchio bridge and many, many more.
Last but not least, it’s very easy to get to the main train station, Santa Maria Novella. It’s a fifteen-minute walk from your apartment and you can comfortably and cheaply travel to so many destinations!
## Transit
Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which stands for “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red /green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages in the centre (the one nearest the apartment you are staying in) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify their need for access in the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.
## Notes
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ PAYING ATTENTION
-TOURIST CITY TAX: Euro 3 per person per night (maximum 7 nights), Children under 12 free of charge to be paid in cash upon arrival
-The lead guest must be over 21 years old and will be required to sign an occupation agreement upon arrival. That is for insurance, fiscal and legal purposes. All guests are required to show a valid identity card upon check-in, if not, they will not be allowed to enter (due to Italian Police regulations).
- Smoking is not allowed
- Sorry, no pets allowed
- Strictly no partying or loud noises. Please do not make too much noise when entering and leaving the flat in the evening and after 11 pm, as to respect our neighbours.
- No outsiders allowed in the apartment without our approval, in order not to contravene the police regulations.
- The final cleaning fee is intended as flat general cleaning. Keep the place reasonably clean and tidy and leave the kitchen cleaned (no dirty dishes and garbage left over). If not, please note that additional costs will be charged.
- The septic system is very effective, however it will clog up if improper material is flushed. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If that happened and clog the septic system damages will be charged.
- Lost keys or getting locked out: Euro 100 per key set for replacement.
Check-in time is 2PM - 7PM.

***Any late check in must be requested and approved 24h before arrival.
***Guests must be aged 21 or over, or accompanied by a responsible adult.
Early and Late Check-In has an extra cost:
From 12 noon to 2pm: €10 ( €15 on weekends)
From 7pm to 8pm: €20
From 8pm to 10pm: €30
From 10pm to 11pm: €40
No check-in after 11pm, except for agreement made previously.
The flat is inside the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). Ask me all the info you need about parkings!
