Simple but comfortable one bedroom apartment, for two person in the very heart of Amsterdam, close to dam square.
If you are looking for simple, bright accommodation in the city centre, then this apartment may well be what you are looking for. The bright living with television. At the other end of the room, there is an open kitchen area, complete with dining table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped, including microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A separate bedroom offers comfortable double bed, with bedside tables and lamps. Everything is bright, clean and modern. The small but contemporary bathroom has a washbasin, shower and toilet. All in all, a great apartment for those of you looking for no frills, clean, bright accommodation in the very heart of the city centre. A word of warning – access is via very steep stairs, and makes this apartment unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Located in the very heart of Amsterdam, near to the famous and bustling Dam Square, this apartment is a perfect base from which to explore the city (and its nightlife). With its central location, the whole of Amsterdam really is at your fingertips.
The “Negen straatjes” (9 streets), home to many of Amsterdam’s exciting smaller boutiques, are just a short walk away. The Palace on Dam Square, the Red Light District, the hectic Kalverstraat shopping street and the calm of the Vondel park are also within easy reach, either on foot, by bike or by tram. Visit the tempting Lindengracht food market on a Saturday morning, or the farmers' market on the Noordermarkt. A fifteen minute stroll away, (or 5-minute tram ride) is the Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh Museum, the newly reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum with its collection of world renowned masterworks. Something for every taste!
For those of you who want to venture a little further afield, hop on one of the many trams to take you across Amsterdam. The main train station, Central Station, is also just a stone’s throw away.
