Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 4 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

Spacious and Private room in large charming cozy home with open concept large kitchen and three full bathrooms. Ideal central location one block from the Rideau Canal and three blocks from the Ottawa river, in the heart of Ottawa. Full use of kitchen. Sleeps 3.
The Space:
This bedroom is ideal for medium to longterm stays. A large bedroom gives you quiet and privacy, while the main floor is shared common area, which is very roomy and comfortable. With multiple seating areas, there is plenty of space for you to make yourself at home. Full sized laundry units are available for use at no extra charge and the main bath has a full tub and shower.

There is plenty of free street parking.

The Neighborhood:
A beautiful older home in a quiet residential neighbourhood, this unit is very conveniently steps away from the Ottawa Rideau Canal. There are bike paths, jogging and grassy areas to play frisbee or just enjoy some quiet outdoor fun. Within walking distance is also Elgin Street which has a very wide variety of restaurants and bars, and around the corner is a Pharmacy, LCBO and Grocery Store.
Getting Around:
Biking, busing, car and taxi's (UBERs) are the main forms of transportation in Ottawa. However, this unit is close to many amenities, within easy walking distance.
Other Things to Note:
To keep our costs down and save our environment, we are using only environmentally friendly products and DO NOT iron our sheets.
