Casa della Vecchina - Omega is located in a remote corner of the quaint village of Torca. The apartment is located on the top floor of a two-story farmhouse and has been stylishly renovated with a mixture of wood and stone features. It comprises of one double bedroom, bathroom and open plan kitchen, dining and living with a double sofabed accommodating 4 people. In addition, there is a beautiful rooftop terrace which offers spectacular views of the Amalfi Coastline and surrounding rural landscape and is perfect for sunsets or basking in the sun on one of the sun chairs provided.
Entry to the apartment is via an external staircase. The front entrance to the apartment offers a balcony with beautiful views of Marina del Cantone, the Amalfi coastline and the surrounding countryside. Here you will find a table and chair set for enjoy morning breakfasts or sipping on a glass of wine as you experience one of the most amazing sunsets.
The apartment opens directly onto the kitchen, living and dining space. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the modern conveniences, including induction stove and oven, fridge and freezer. From the living, a door opens onto a Juliette balcony with views of the surrounding farmlands.
Down two steps from the living area you enter the light-filled double bedroom complete with ample storage space, ensuite bathroom with separate shower room and double glass doors that open onto the front terrace.
Casa della Vecchina - Omega offers all the comforts of a holiday home including Satellite TV, WiFi internet access and a separate laundry room (shared with one other apartment in the complex) with washing machine.
The location of Casa della Vecchina - Omega is in the old town of Torca down a narrow cobblestone path. The carpark is located approx. 200m from the house and small car is a MUST as the roads are narrow in this part of the town.
Casa della Vecchina - Omega is an ideal base for visiting the olive groves and orange trees of the Punta Campanella National Park, a marine protected area, and Marina del Cantone beach. The town of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi is just 1km away, and offers family-run restaurants, gelaterias, fresh pasta shops, fruit and vegetable stores, mini-markets, bakeries, butchers and fishmongers, coffee bars and pubs.
There are many walking trails to appreciate the beauty of the natural environment, ranging from gentle walks to more strenuous hikes.
Sorrento is just 10 kilometres away or you could take the opportunity to explore the Amalfi Coast, with lush Amalfi, Positano and Ravello offering both beauty and cultural interest.
