If you are looking for an apartment that is ideally located for the exploration of Naples and the surrounding region, look no further than Casa Dante.
On the third floor of an historic building, this apartment is right in the heart of the old centre of Naples, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A short stroll takes you to Piazza Dante and the National Museum.
When you wish to go further afield, it is just minutes to major transport routes, including two metro lines (Line 1 “Museum”, and Line 2 “Piazza Cavour”).
If you wish to take the bus or furnicular these are also within easy reach. Nearby attractions It’s worth spending a day exploring the historical centre on foot.
Highlights include the cathedral, the botanical gardens and the National Archaeological Museum. If shopping is your thing, you’ll love the choice on Via Toldeo.
When evening comes, head to the nearby Piazza Bellini. We’d also recommend taking Metro line 2 to the Mergellina for a walk by the sea. Great views over the city are to be had from Piazza Vanvitelli in the Vomero District (take Metro line 1). Or take the bus to Capodimonte to visit the Museum and the park. Slightly further afield, it’s an easy journey to the Port, to take a boat to the islands of Capri, or Ischia. And of course, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and Pozzuoli should not be missed!
The apartment Measuring 90 square metres, the apartment is comfortably spacious, and well equipped. It is newly renovated, but there is evidence of the history of the building in the wonderful period details, such as the characterful high windows and doors. Simply decorated, with tiled floors and crisp white walls, the apartment is clean, bright and cosy. There is attention to detail in all rooms, with small touches designed to make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
There is air conditioning in all rooms, and a free Wifi connection. The living space There is an open plan living room, with a single sofa bed for one person, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is modern in style, with a dishwasher, fridge, hob and microwave.
A door leads onto a small balcony, letting light stream in. The bedrooms and bathroom There are two good sized double bedrooms. Both have ample storage, including a chest of drawers and a wardrobe area. Each bedroom has twin French doors, and feels light and airy.
The pleasant bathroom has modern white furnishings, including an enclosed shower, and a washing machine. Parking and access. If you need to bring a car, there is paid parking 50 metres from the apartment building.
The apartment is accessed via a lift.
