Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.


Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.


Cancellation terms in most cases are:


  • With less than 30 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
  • With less than 90 days notice before your arrival date: 30% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page


Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
Brick Lane is one of the most vibrant, independent and mixed areas of London with many indie shops and world-famous market. The area has also election of supermarkets, restaurants, gyms. It’s a tech business hub of London – Google campus and other tech companies are based nearby in Old Street and London City with it’s finance business is walking distance away.
SPACE
It’s a 2 bedroom flat perfect for 4.
Sleeping arrangements: 2x 140cm wide double bed in bedrooms.
Kitchen is equipped with basic utensils and crockery, fob, oven, microwave, coffeemaker etc. to prepare simple meals. There is a table with 4 chairs.

ACCESS AND INTERACTION
Flat is entirely for guests’ use and not shared with anyone. Please respect the neighbours, common areas and keep noise down especially at night after 9 PM.
I will be available should you have any difficulties or questions. Best way to reach out is through the booking site or (if matter is urgent) via phone provided.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
After booking please kindly provide your contact details: phone you will use during the trip and email address.
Depending on the situation I will meet you in person or provide access code couple of days before the arrival together with instructions. These are sent via your booking platform.
Check-in is after 15.00 – please inform us of late check-in after 8 PM. Sometimes we may be able to let you drop off bags earlier at 1 PM while cleaner is there preparing the flat.
Check-out is strictly at 11. We may allow you to store bags till 1 PM but it needs to be requested beforehand.
There are luggage storage options near all major stations and some apps that work with local shops: LUGGAGE HERO or BAGBNB.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Livepool Street Station is major Bus, Tube, Rail (24H tube on the weekend) – it’s 12 min walk away. ALDGATE EAST station is the nearest, just 5 min walk from the flat. Trains and run to different parts of London every couple of minutes. It takes 5 min to walk to the station.
Best apps to understand public transport options are Google Maps and CityMapper (provides prices and more accurate timing).
Transport for London website provides info on the prices, connections, etc. You can buy tickets and OYSTER travel card in each station. Prices: tube ride zone 1-2 (£2.30-£3, zone 2+ £1.5-£2.30 if you don’t travel through zone 1, bus £1.50)
Trainline app allows you to check and book trains.

AIRPORT ACCESS
Heathrow (Piccadilly Line to King’s Cross then Hammersmith&City Line to Aldgate East)
Gatwick (train to King’s Cross then Hammersmith&City Line to Aldgate East)
Stansted Airport (train to Liverpool St Station and short cab ride or 12 min walk)
Luton Airport (train to King’s Cross then Hammersmith&City Line to Aldgate East)

PARKING
Ely’s Yard Parking offers day rate of £15 and night rate of £8 (10 min walk) and same for Old Truman Brewery. The apartment does not have parking space of it’s own and for street parking follow information on the street display.
