On top of a hill, facing a magnificent view from the Apuan Alps to the sea, Il Sapito resort reveals the charm, hospitality and beauty of an old farmhouse with barn converted into eight characterful holiday homes offering every confort. Each cottage is differently sized, the decor is authentically traditional dominated by pastel colors full of light and brilliance. Beautiful stone fireplaces and country style kitchens enrich the interiors.
Private gardens, naturally fenced by bushes of rosemary and lavender, attract butterflies and bees to this chemical-free oasis of pure air. Winding pathways and wide stone stairways lead to the playing areas for kids, to each apartment entrance and dining Terraces. The dense planting on every level gives shade and a sense of privacy to the 8 apartments set around the swimming pool.
The generous landscaping, deliciously lush with olive trees, cypresses and oleanders, tumbles down to the pool terrace amply supplied with sun loungers and shady pergola with a little paddling area for tiny tots, to the "Sapito estate shop" where you can buy and taste the Poderi Tognetti's own organic produce (zero food miles!) and to the shaded parking.
You are welcome to wander the estate's 5 km of pathways, spotting the wildflife as you go through vineyards, olive groves up to the forest where we raise the "Cinto Toscano" pig (saddleback) in freedom within fences.
A short walk brings you to the natural and cozy ambience of the Farm Restaurant Il Brigante.
