Stunning two bedroom apartment, that can accommodate four guests, located in the Old West area of Amsterdam.
This exceptionally spacious apartment has been fully renovated to the highest standards yet has maintained many original features creating stylish and memorable accommodation. The living space features high ceilings, wooden floors and large windows allowing in plenty of natural light. It is furnished with a comfortable sofa, additional seating and a flatscreen television. The living space leads onto the dining area, furnished with a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in the apartment, including an oven, hob, a microwave, grill, fridge, freezer, a dishwasher, a toaster and a coffee machine. There are two bedrooms, which are stylish, spacious and furnished with double beds. One of the bedrooms comes with a little kitchenette and a television, while the other one has access to a balcony. This apartment is located in the Old West just a short distance from the Jordaan and Canal Belt. The apartment is in a primarily residential area with an array of restaurants and shops. The highly sought after Jordaan district located on the edge of the old Amsterdam centre is just a short walk from the apartment. The Jordaan is filled with charming cafes, boutique clothing stores, cool bars and exciting restaurants and simply walking the streets and taking in the atmosphere is something everyone should do while in Amsterdam. After a few hours exploring the area, why not relax at one of the many cafes and enjoy a slice of traditional Dutch apple cake. Cafe Papeneiland arguably has the finest in the city, although there are numerous places you can sample this local dish. The historic UNESCO World Heritage Protected Central Canal Belt is one of the most picturesque parts of the city. Amsterdam is best viewed from the water and with the canals right on your doorstep, there is no excuse not to hire a boat or take a cruise. Walking around this area you will be amazed by the stunning canal houses, many of which have been extremely well preserved, including The Museum Van Loon, which provides a fascinating glimpse into how wealthy Dutch merchants lived during the Dutch Golden Age. The apartment is just a short walk from the lively Leidseplein with its high density of bars, cafes, restaurants, clubs and live music venues. If you are interested in art, the Museum Quarter is home to the Rijks Museum and Van Gogh Museum as well as high quality bars, cafes and restaurants and certainly provides a different feel from that of the livelier Leidseplein. Also within walking distance of the apartment is Anne Frank House, Dam Square with the must see Royal Palace and the Nine Streets shopping district rich with cafes and boutiques. If you are seeking accommodation in a charming, typically Amsterdam neighbourhood with great eating and drinking establishments close by then this is a great place to stay. The apartment is also well serviced by trams making it both fast and easy to get into the city centre.
