Walk just a minute and there is the beach and the Arabian Sea. This one bed apartment is rear facing, ground floor and is of a good size and incorporates modern amenities. Shops and restaurants are also very close by. This is a very popular choice for beach and Candolim lovers.
The Silva Shell apartment block is unique because of its extremely close proximity to Candolim beach. You can see it from the sea view apartments. It’s a really rare gem because it is hard to find such properties so close to the beach. There are mature whispering palm trees in abundance around the properties and the apartments are situated on a little lane just off of the ever popular, main Candolim high street. It is a mere 5 minutes walk away. The surrounding area is green and lush and the apartments are just a 2,minute walk to the golden sands of Candolim beach. There are so many shops, restaurants, bars, salons, spas and entertainment on the high street and side roads. You can also shop until your drop in the array of leather goods shops, trinket and souvenir shops, fashion boutiques, fabulous jewellers and much, much more. On the golden stretch of Candolim beach you will find so many great beach shacks to lounge at and sample the local beers and food. They are a much needed, shady respite from the gloriously warm Goan sunshine. Outside each shack there are sun beds lined up to sun yourself from top to toes whilst enjoying waiter service and pampering delights such as massages and manicures. These shacks are open in the evening too. So, you can choose to spend your evenings on the buzzing high street or sink your toes into the cool evening sand whilst enjoying a cocktail or two.
The Accommodation
Location location location. The apartment is situated just a 2 minute walk away from the famous Candolim Beach. Cres, the owner is Goan born and bred and wants you the holiday maker to experience the many great, beautiful and fascinating things that she has experienced living and growing up in Goa in the past. She now lives in America. The locally based property manager, Sarah from the UK takes bookings, payments and helps manage the properties along with Cres’ family members on her behalf. Outside you can sit on the terrace sipping a cool drink and take in the sunset.

Bedroom
The bedroom is furnished with lovely wooden and cane furniture, featuring a king size bed. There is Sky TV for your viewing pleasure and a lockable wardrobe just outside the bedroom. You can choose from a ceiling fan or air conditioning for your sleeping comfort. There is a large granite window seat in the bedroom where you can sit and enjoy the views and a cane single sofa bed in the living area if there are 3 of you staying at the apartment.

Other Things To Note
Please note that this is self catering accommodation. As such if you are looking for services of starred hotels then this may not be the right choice for you as you don't get daily housekeeping included nor any room service as in hotels. Daily housekeeping can be made available at an extra cost but there is no room service.
Please be sure about your comfort level with all this before making a booking. If you are not sure then discuss it first before booking.

Linen is changed only once mid week for those booking for 1 week or more. For bookings for 3 to 4 days - no change of linen or towels is done. However, if it is required then the same can be provided for an extra charge. We repeatedly are asked why cleaning is not included. Please understand that this is a self catering apartment and many guests do not like to pay for the extra cleaning. They are happy doing it themselves.

Complimentary toiletries, tea bags, coffee, water etc. are provided only for the check in day so that the guests do not have to go out to buy these things immediately on arrival. After that you have to arrange it yourself.

The Area
Candolim is a beautiful village of North Goa situated at about 15 km from Panaji in the Bardez Taluka.
It is one of the most happening tourist hotspots and is very famous for its beautiful beach. While at the Candolim beach do not miss out the Fort Aguada. The fort was built by the Portuguese way back in 1912 for defence against the Dutch and the Maratha invaders. Along with the fort the church, lighthouse and the barracks of the Aguada Jail have become tourist attractions.
Candolim beach offers an opportunity to enjoy a great time with involvement in the water sport activities along the beach including paragliding, boat trips, wakeboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, or take a ride on a jet ski. Dolphin spotting trips and island trips are on offer and there is plenty of scope for bird watching. Yoga classes are very popular. Fishing trips can also be arranged. Fine dining restaurants, along with a pulsating nightlife.
Getting Around
Most people in Candolim walk as everything is within close proximity. However, car and bike hire is readily available. There are also many taxis to take you on those famous Goa trips. Less than 10 minutes’ walk to Candolim clean, white and sandy beach which, has a large selection of beach shacks offering excellent value for money food and drinks. Water sports, fishing and boat trips are available nearby. Candolim is buzzing with life. You don't have to walk for more than a few minutes before you get to a shop, a bar, a restaurant. The beach is also right there on your doorstep so you have beach shacks to visit also. Night-time on Holiday street is alive with lights, entertainers, street sellers. The perfect recipe for a great holiday.
